Celebrating 40 years of Kailis

Guests were mesmerised by Sara Macliver, Western Australian soprano singer at our 2018/19 collection launch. Hosted by Narelda Jacobs at our Fremantle boutique, the evening featured our new Meridian collection, embodied the essence of Natural Beauty and recognised 40 years of Kailis Australian Pearls.

Celebrating 40 years of Kailis excellence

As the saying goes, ‘You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.’ That is how our valued guests were treated at our 2018/19 Kailis collection launch and 40th Anniversary celebration.

One hundred people attended the lavish affair, including members of the Kailis family, board, clients and supporters. Newsreader and beloved Network 10 personality Narelda Jacobs hosted the event and dazzled guests in the white gold Metropolis Earrings. Not to mention, the captivating performance by Western Australian soprano singer Sara Macliver which highlighted the evening.

Introducing the Meridian Collection

Guests were treated to a sneak peak of our exquisite Meridian Collection and premiere viewing of our craftsmanship video. The collection marries the timeless Australian South Sea Pearls with the brilliant sparkle, history and provenance of Royal Asscher and Asscher diamonds. Our Meridian Collection is now available to purchase online and in-store.

The perfect location

Our iconic Fremantle boutique was a feast for the eyes. Awe-inspiring florals by Rebecca Grace of Natural Art Flowers drew the eye to the sunlit high ceilings of the early November evening and set the scene out over the alfresco area. The mood inside was uplifting and welcoming due to the soft, Western Australian colour palette and subtle yet elegant lighting by Micktrics. Creative direction was inspired by the textures and landscape campaign photography of internationally renowned fashion photographer Simon Lekias.

The team behind the event

Stepping out into the outdoor space, the celebration extended to the pop-up cocktail bar attended by mixologists from local favourite Strange Company, whose delectable refreshments were paired with the finest, freshest oysters from catering company Heyder & Shears.

Of course, no one would have known about our event without the creative talents of graphic designers at Dessein or Steve Little from Data Documents. Their collaboration had people rushing to their letterboxes to check they had received their bespoke, foil-pressed invitation.

Impeccably orchestrated by Mimi Sheppard of MV Events, guests are still talking about this event, long after it ended.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and all those working behind the scenes who assisted with this magical evening. We can’t wait to move into this next chapter of Kailis Jewellery with you.
