Introducing our Kailis 2023-24 campaign, RISE Act IV.
The story unfolds on the extraordinary South West coast of Western Australia.
In the finale of our RISE campaign our muse makes deeper and deeper connections with the world that she’s made her own. Eventually, transcending the physical, she and the world become as one.
She is the sand beneath her feet, she is the ebb and flow of the tides, she is the luminous pearl.
Our Muse Rises
The story begins beneath the surface, and unfolds over four acts:
Act I: Awaken.
The tumultuous, dramatic arrival of our muse.
From the ocean she comes in dawn’s fragile light. She wears nothing but gossamer, pearls, gold, and silver.
She is the definition of freedom. Unencumbered by vanity or ego. She simply is.
Act II: Seeing with new eyes.
Our muse rediscovers the world and begins to understand her place in it. She moves from the shallows, along
the beach.
Act III: In your image.
Curiosity becomes confidence as she walks among wave-worn rocks. She begins to understand that the Earth itself is a loyal subject; hers to command. She climbs atop the largest stone and looks up to the sky.
She feels the light. Revels in it. With her back to the ocean, haloed by the setting sun, she announces her arrival.
Act IV: As one, transcendent.
As she’s making the world her own, our muse becomes intimately immersed in it. As one with it.
Inseparable from the sand, the air and the sea.

Behind the scenes
Kailis partnered with the talented local teams at Rhythm Agency and Rhythm Films to create RISE.
The story occurs in the Margaret River region in South West WA. It follows our enigmatic muse, Aude Mangharam, as she journeys through the region’s iconic locations, including Wyadup Rocks, Bunker Bay and Shelley Cove.
Captured by Jason Capobianco, an Australian-born fashion, celebrity, and portrait photographer most known for his crafted cinematic style of visual storytelling.
Our muse, Aude, is a Perth-born, international model based in Sydney. She has worked with a number of Australian brands and is represented across the globe via her management agencies in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, Germany, Sydney and Perth.
We wish to express our gratitude to the wonderful team who did a tremendous job in capturing the natural beauty of Kailis and Western Australia.
