Ordering Goods

Any order placed by you via this website is an offer by you to purchase a particular product or service for the price (including the delivery and other charges) specified in this website at the time you place your order. Kailis Jewellery reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason, including, without limitation, the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this website, an error in your order or a failure in your payment. If Kailis Jewellery accepts your offer, that offer becomes binding on you and Kailis Jewellery, subject to any express provision of these terms to the contrary.

Order Notification

When we receive your order, you will receive an email notification from Kailis Jewellery listing the items ordered, the total product and shipping charges, delivery address, estimated shipping times and shipping carrier. This will not include any customs duties, local taxes or bank fees. This is a confirmation that we have received your order, not a confirmation of acceptance or processing.

Australian Orders

All orders placed within Australia are subject to the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). All Australian prices are GST inclusive.
Any orders placed outside Australia for delivery within Australia are also subject to GST. Under certain circumstance, this GST may be claimed back in your country of residence or upon leaving Australia under the Australian Tourist Refund Scheme. However, please consult your local government office or the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service , as appropriate,for full details.

International Orders

Kailis Jewellery ships online orders within Australia , to North America (USA and Canada) and to United Kingdom. To enquire about shipping to any other destination, please contact us.
Due to varying market conditions in Australia and overseas, prices of products purchased from Kailis Jewellery may vary between countries. International orders for delivery outside Australia are GST free.

Currency and Conversions

Transactions via the Kailis Jewellery website are carried out in Australian dollars and processed through the international banking system. International orders are charged in Australian dollars at the exchange rate of the day. Your final bill will be determined by the exchange rate applied by your credit card company at the time the charge is recorded, plus any fees applied by your credit card provider.

Availability

If you place an order for a Kailis Jewellery item that has temporarily sold out, you may still be able to purchase this item through a back order or one of our Kailis stores. Kailis Jewellery will notify you within 2 working days of placing an order if it is no longer available and you will be entitled to either a credit to the value you spent or a refund for your purchase.

Dispatch and Delivery

All online orders are dispatched from Kailis Jewellery during normal Western Australian business hours.

Delivery within Australia

Due to the valuable nature of Kailis Jewellery, certain couriers won’t leave goods with somebody that is not the named person on the delivery documentation. Therefore, if your order needs to be accepted by someone other than yourself, their details must be included in the special instructions for your delivery.
Certain freight companies will not ship to a PO Box so please ensure your shipping details include your street address and daytime telephone number. Your order cannot be dispatched if these details are missing.
The Kailis Jewellery provided insurance only applies until the order is delivered to your nominated address, after which any items are wholly at your risk.

International delivery

For orders placed from outside Australia, international freight charges will apply. Overseas deliveries may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes levied by the destination country. Any such import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes are the responsibility of the customer; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs restrictions may also apply. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; we recommend you contact your local customers and duties office to find out what import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes may be relevant to your purchase and whether any customs restrictions apply. When customs clearance processes are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Shipping costs and lead times:

Purchases made through the Kailis jewellery website are subject to shipping costs. The cost for shipping will depend upon the number of items purchased, their value and where they are being shipped to. Below are an indication of the standard shipping costs which apply to one item under $2,500 value purchased through the Kailis Jewellery online store; any purchases which are above this value or quantity may be subject to additional costs. All prices are in Australian dollars and do not take into account any customs or duties which may be applicable to international deliveries.

Free shipping promotion

All eligible online orders placed between 12:00am on 1 May 2012 and 11:59pm on 30 June 2012 (Western Australian Standard Time) will not incur the shipping charges outlined above. An eligible order is an order for one or more items processed in a single transaction with a total (combined) sale price, excluding any additional fees or charges, of AU$250 or more.
However, import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country may apply and remain the responsibility of the customer.
